Ingredients

Steps

  1. In a bowl, add 725 gr of margarine and 3 egg yolks.
  2. Mix on the lowest speed only until soft and evenly combined, not until it becomes fluffy.
  3. Add 1 kg of low-protein all-purpose flour and 50 gr of milk powder.
  4. Stir until well combined, then knead by hand until the dough is smooth and no longer sticks to the bowl.
  5. Dust the cookie cutter with all-purpose flour so the dough does not stick to it.
  6. Divide the dough into three equal portions of about 600 gr each.
  7. For the original flavour, roll out one portion to about 1 cm thick, cut out the cookies, then place them on a baking tray.
  8. Preheat the oven for about 10 minutes, then bake at 130 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat for about 25 to 30 minutes until the cookies are done.
  9. While they are still hot, roll the cookies straight in powdered sugar twice so the sugar sticks.
  10. Let the cookies cool completely, then store them in a tightly sealed jar.
  11. For the pandan flavour, take 600 gr of the dough, add about 1 teaspoon of pandan paste, then stir until well combined.
  12. If the dough feels too soft, add about 10 to 20 gr of all-purpose flour.
  13. Roll out and cut the pandan dough as before, then bake it the same way and for the same time.
  14. While they are still hot, roll the pandan cookies in powdered sugar twice.
  15. For the chocolate flavour, add 30 gr of cocoa powder to the remaining dough, stir until well combined, then roll out, cut, and bake as before.
  16. For the coating, sift 200 gr of powdered sugar, 100 gr of Milo powder, and 20 gr of cocoa powder to make sure there are no lumps.
  17. While the chocolate cookies are still hot, roll them straight into the chocolate coating.
