About
resep. is one family's digital warung: an archive of Indonesian video recipes gathered from a handful of creators' channels and written out as an ingredient list, a set of steps, and the minute each step starts. From one place you can find the dish, plan a week of meals, and take the shopping list to the market.
Every video here belongs to the creator who made it, and to nobody else. resep. re-uploads nothing: what is stored is the title, the description, the link, and the recipe read out of that description or out of what is said in the video. Watching still happens on their player, the view still counts on their channel, and every page carries a way back to it.
The site was built by Yosia for his own family, because “what are we cooking today?” kept ending in a scroll with no bottom to it. What began as one household's list of recipes was then opened so that anyone could use it.
There are no ads here, nothing is for sale, and no recipe is locked. There are no third-party trackers either. The Privacy page names everything that is kept, one item at a time.
The kitchens indexed here
The channels whose recipes are in the archive. The name opens everything they have on resep.; the link beside it opens their own channel.
