Ingredients

Steps

  1. Put 1 packet of grass jelly flavoured jelly powder and 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar into a pot, then stir until evenly combined.
  2. Pour in 700 ml of water, stir well, then cook over medium heat while stirring constantly until it boils.
  3. Turn off the heat, pour the mixture into another container, then leave it until set or firm.
  4. Put 75 g of thai tea powder and 1,300 ml of water into a pot, stir until evenly combined, then cook until it boils.
  5. Once it boils, keep cooking for about 3 minutes so the colour and aroma of the tea come out, then turn off the heat and strain the tea through a cloth strainer.
  6. Put 3 packets of white agar powder and 200 g of granulated sugar into a pot, then stir until evenly combined.
  7. Add 1 can of evaporated milk, 500 ml of liquid milk, the tea cooked earlier, and 100 g of sweetened condensed milk.
  8. Cook over medium heat while stirring constantly until it boils, then turn off the heat and stir briefly until the steam has gone.
  9. Shred the set grass jelly, then pour it into a 24 cm diameter mould.
  10. Pour the thai tea pudding mixture into the mould, then stir occasionally before it sets so the grass jelly spreads out.
  11. Leave it until the pudding sets at room temperature, then chill in the fridge for about 4 hours before serving.
  12. Turn the pudding out of the mould, then slice and serve.
