  1. Heat a wok, then add 3 tbsp of white peppercorns and dry roast them until fragrant.
  2. Pound the peppercorns coarsely, there is no need to grind them fine.
  3. Transfer the pounded peppercorns into tea bags, dividing them between 2 bags.
  4. Add 5 g of cinnamon and 1 star anise into the tea bags as well, then seal them.
  5. Briefly toast about one and a half bulbs of garlic in the wok.
  6. Prepare about 1 kg of pork ribs.
  7. Put the meat into boiling water to blanch it briefly.
  8. Move the meat into a bowl and wash it clean.
  9. Put the washed meat into a pot.

  20. Serve the bak kut teh with rice, fried dough sticks, and the dipping sauce.
