  1. Put 5 eggs, 11 tablespoons of granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of SP emulsifier into a bowl.
  2. Beat from low speed up to high speed for about 8-10 minutes, until the batter is risen, pale, and holds a ribbon.
  3. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt with 185 grams of sifted medium-protein all-purpose flour.
  4. Fold it in gently first, then beat on the lowest speed for about 20 seconds, until combined.
  5. Finish with a spatula, folding from the bottom upward.
  6. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla paste, 2 sachets of ready-to-use coconut milk (130 ml), 160 ml of cooking oil, and 1 sachet of sweetened condensed milk (40 grams).
  7. Fold it from the bottom upward until perfectly combined, with no oil settling at the base of the batter.
  8. Split the batter in two, work 1 teaspoon of pandan paste into one half, then mix the colour in evenly.
  9. Grease a 24 cm tin with margarine, then dust the inside with a little all-purpose flour.
  10. Spoon 2 tablespoons of the green batter into the tin, then 2 tablespoons of the plain batter, alternating until both run out.
  11. Tap the tin so trapped air escapes.
  12. Set the tin in a steamer of boiling water, then steam for 30 minutes over medium heat with a clean cloth under the lid.
  13. After 30 minutes, open the steamer, test it with a skewer, then take it out.
  14. Turn the cake out of the tin, then slice it for serving.
