Ingredients

Steps

  1. Put one packet of plain agar-agar powder, four sachets of Milo powder, and 5 tablespoons of granulated sugar into a pot, then stir until evenly combined.
  2. Add 500 ml of water, then stir again until evenly combined.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly so the bottom does not catch or go lumpy, until it boils and bubbles up, then turn off the heat.
  4. Pour it into a heatproof container, then leave it until the jelly is set and firm.
  5. Bring 750 ml of water to the boil in a pot, add 50 g of Thai sago pearls, then cook for about 15 minutes until they turn transparent and turn off the heat.
  6. Drain the sago pearls, rinse them with room-temperature or cold water to stop the cooking, then drain them again.
  7. Once the jelly is set, cut it into cubes to the size you like.
  8. Put four sachets of Milo powder and one sachet of sweetened condensed milk into a bowl.
  9. Add 500 ml of warm liquid milk, then stir until evenly combined and the Milo has dissolved.
  10. Add the jelly and the sago pearls, then stir until evenly combined.
  11. Chill in the fridge for about three hours before serving.
