Ingredients

Steps

  1. Bring 1500 ml of water to a boil in a pot, add 200 g elbow macaroni, then boil over medium heat for about 15 minutes until the macaroni is plump and soft.
  2. Lift out and drain the macaroni, then set it aside.
  3. Put 2 tbsp margarine into a pan, then saute 1 onion cut into small dice and 5 grated garlic cloves until fragrant.
  4. Add 200 g minced chicken, then stir-fry until the chicken is cooked and has changed colour.
  5. Add 1 carrot cut into small dice, 5 green beans cut into pieces, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp stock powder and 1/2 tsp ground pepper.
  6. Stir until evenly combined, then keep cooking until the carrot is tender.
  7. Add 1 tbsp all-purpose flour, then stir quickly until the flour is evenly incorporated.
  8. Pour in 300 ml milk, stir until combined, then cook until it comes to a boil.
  9. Once it boils, add 100 g grated cheddar cheese and the boiled macaroni, then stir until evenly combined.
  10. Turn off the heat and let the mixture stand until it is only warm.
  11. Beat 3 eggs lightly, then add them to the pan and stir until evenly combined.
  12. Spoon the mixture into heatproof containers such as aluminium foil cups or heatproof glass bowls, filling them up.
  13. Scatter 150 g grated mozzarella over the tops.
  14. Sprinkle with oregano or dried parsley, and fresh parsley leaves if you like.
  15. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat for about 20 minutes until the cheese has melted and the surface is golden brown.
  16. Take them out of the oven, let them stand until just warm, then serve.
