- Tusuk sosis dan tok bergantian di tusuk sate.
- Tuang 350 sampai 400 ml air atau kaldu dashi ke dalam panci.
- Tambahkan 1 1/2 sdm brown sugar.

- Masak di api kecil 3 sampai 5 menit sampai sausnya mengental dan toknya lembut.
- Tambahkan sedikit minyak wijen sebagai finishing lalu aduk.
- Panaskan sedikit minyak di wajan untuk menggoreng sate tok.
- Goreng sate tok sambil dibolak-balik sampai permukaannya agak kering dan garing.
- Angkat lalu tiriskan sate toknya.
- Untuk saus olesan, masukkan 2 sdm gochujang ke mangkuk.
- Tambahkan 2 sdm saus tomat.
- Tambahkan 1 sdm sirup jagung.
- Tambahkan 1 sdm minyak wijen dan 1 1/2 sdt soy sauce.
- Tambahkan 1 sdt gula pasir dan 1/2 sdm bawang putih cincang.
- Aduk semua bahan lalu masak di api paling kecil sampai gulanya larut.
- Setelah mendidih matikan apinya.
- Poles sate tok yang sudah digoreng dengan saus olesan.
- Masukkan telur rebus ke dalam tteokbokki.
- Sajikan tteokbokki dengan taburan keju dan daun bawang.

- Thread sausage and rice cakes alternately onto skewers.
- Pour 350 to 400 ml of water or dashi stock into a pan.
- Add 1 1/2 tbsp of brown sugar.
- Add 1/2 tbsp of minced garlic.
- Add 1 tbsp of Korean chilli powder.
- Add 2 tbsp of gochujang.
- Add 1 1/2 tbsp of soy sauce.
- Stir everything together and bring it to the boil.
- Add 1/8 tsp of salt, or more to taste.
- Cut the fish cake into pieces.
- Cut 2 stalks of spring onion to the same length as the rice cakes.
- Cut the sausage into two or three pieces.
- Once the broth boils, add the rice cakes.
- Add the fish cake.
- Add the sausage.
- Add the spring onion and stir.
- Simmer over low heat for 3 to 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and the rice cakes soften.
- Finish with a little sesame oil and stir it through.
- Heat a little oil in a pan to shallow fry the rice cake skewers.
- Fry the skewers, turning them until the surface dries out and crisps up.
- Lift out the skewers and drain them.
- For the basting sauce, put 2 tbsp of gochujang in a bowl.
- Add 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup.
- Add 1 tbsp of corn syrup.
- Add 1 tbsp of sesame oil and 1 1/2 tsp of soy sauce.
- Add 1 tsp of sugar and 1/2 tbsp of minced garlic.
- Stir everything together and heat over the lowest flame until the sugar dissolves.
- Turn off the heat once it starts to bubble.
- Brush the fried skewers with the basting sauce.
- Add boiled eggs to the tteokbokki.
- Serve the tteokbokki topped with cheese and spring onion.
